The Cowboy Hustle 5K Run/Walk race will be on August 6th. Registration opens at 6:30am at the Golden Years Center with the 5K Run/Walk getting underway at 7am and the Kids 1/2 mile race will begin at 7:45am. There will be medals awarded for age divisions and prizes will be awarded to the overall top male and female 5K finishers and all kid 1/2 mile participants. Entry fee is $20 for the 5K and $10 for the 1/2 mile kids race. Includes a race-themed t-shirt.

Phillipsburg's 150th Anniversary Celebration.

A yeast bread baking contest will be held on August 6th. Registration is at 10am with judging at 10:30am on the northwest corner of the Courthouse lawn. A free bag of Hudson Cream Flour will be given for all entries. There are two categories: Adult (ages 15 and older) and Youth (ages 7-14). First place will receive $75 bonus bucks, 2nd place is $50 and 3rd place is $25.

Kansas Biggest Rodeo parade is August 6th, 2022 starting at 2pm.
