Beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017, until approximately noon, the Phillipsburg City water will be shut off for maintenance for customers south of Park Street and east of 4th Street to Highway 183. This will include Southeast 4th Street and the 400 block of Fischer Drive. Water will also be shut off for an area south of Nebraska Avenue and east of 7th Street. The Public Works Department will be installing new valves which will allow the department to work on leaks in the future with less disruption to service. Service will be restored as quickly as possible.
