[ARCHIVED] EDAB seeking Millennial representative

The City of Phillipsburg’s Economic Development Advisory Board is seeking an individual to fill an open position on the board as a representative of the Millennial generation.

Anyone between age 23 and 38 with a passion for the community and the time to serve is welcome to apply. The 14-member Board meets on the second Wednesday of each month.

The purpose of the Economic Development Advisory Board is to provide a structured framework for city and county representative to collaborate in promoting and enhancing Phillipsburg’s economic, commercial, financial, industrial, agricultural, and civic welfare.

The Board meets the second Wednesday of every month. It evaluates incentives, potential locations for new businesses, funding alternatives, available workforce, existing housing, local tourism and marketing opportunities and makes recommendations on related projects and policies.
