FALL CLEAN-UP

PHILLIPSBURG CITY RESIDENTS

CITY-WIDE RESIDENTIAL CLEAN-UP

October 26 – October 30, 2020

Regular household trash will be picked up as normally scheduled.  During the week of October 26 – October 30, 2020 additional city trucks will also be following the regular route to pick-up:

 FURNITURE

TREE BRANCHES

(3” or less in diameter must be separated from those 4” to 6” in diameter.  No branches larger than 6” in diameter and 6’ long can be accepted.)

YARD WASTE (Please put in containers or bags)

APPLIANCES

(Those using Freon must have it removed & be tagged by a certified technician)

 

Please have all items at the curb by 8 a.m. on your regular trash pickup day.  ALL ITEMS MUST BE SEPARATED so that they can be picked up for delivery to the designated area of the landfill.

 

MAXIMUM LIMIT PER RESIDENT WILL BE ONE TRUCKLOAD OF HOUSEHOLD WASTE AND ONE OF YARD WASTE.

 

SORRY, WE CANNOT PICKUP THE FOLLOWING:

Household hazardous waste (paint, insecticides, herbicides, etc.)

Batteries                                           Oil & oil containers

Fuel & fuel containers                     Construction debris

Liquid waste                                     Tires

 

If you have items which the city cannot accept please call the Phillips County Landfill at 543-6880 to find out how you can dispose of them.  

 

If you have any questions concerning the city clean-up or are disabled and need assistance, please call the City Office at 543-5234.  PLEASE LISTEN TO KKAN/KQMA FOR SCHEDULE CHANGES IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER!
