[ARCHIVED] Traffic Emergency Declared for Winter Storm

A "Traffic Emergency" has been declared by the Director of Public Works for a Class B winter storm effective December 31, 2021 at 10:00 PM.  A Class B Winter Storm is defined as a storm with heavy snowfall of 3-8 inches or more occurring in a period of 24 hours or less.  Residents who have vehicles parked on snow emergency routes will need to move their vehicles off the streets. The Phillips County Sherriff’s Office can tow all vehicles located on all emergency snow routes.  The City’s Snow and Ice removal plan is listed on the City’s Website (www.cityofphillipsburg.com ) for your convenience. 

Snow Routes are as follows:

Second Street from Walnut to Park Street

Fischer Drive from SW 2nd Street to 7th Street

7th Street from C Street to Airport

Park Street from 7th to Highway 183

4th Street from State Street to D Street

E. Street from 4th Street to 5th Street

C Street from 2nd Street to 7th Street

Nebraska from 2nd Street to 7th Street

State Street from East City Limit to the West City Limit
